A Town Icon

It must be hard being a town icon.

If the Lighthouse was a human, there wouldn’t be much time to self. Everyone wants a piece of you, a photo with you. When the weather is dull, or night sets in, your light circles the sky, searching for some company.

The Lighthouse is a mega-star.

It’s in every Byron Bay brochure. In every holiday photo. It lures in the morning walker. Now I’ve stolen a bit of it’s soul to share with you now, but more to enjoy it’s beauty. The lighthouse is a Byron Bay icon. And no matter how many times you share space with it, it’s always appreciated.

These pics were taken this morning between 6-7am, snapped on a Nikon D7000 with the 35mm and 18-200mm lens
