Human Signs against Coal Seam Gas Mines!

Yesterday saw the power of people united.

The Coal Seam Gas issue is on our doorstep, with around 3000 people gathering together at Main Beach in Byron Bay to create a human sign of “No CSG”. The rally was a wonderful display of community coming together to ignite change and be counted, a diverse rainbow of personalities sharing the same voice.

People assembled and worked as one to form the massive human sign, while the helicopter above did loops and zoned in on the crowd. You could feel the emotion and camaraderie, friends and strangers arm in arm, we were their to be seen and  heard; ‘No Fracking Way”!

The energy was incredible. I feel blessed to live in this community.
