Introducing Troy Weribone

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a story here on Common Ground called “Good People Doing Good Things” and how a group of indigenous boys who attend educational programs at Ngulingah in Lismore had been gifted tickets to attend The Boomerang Festival. One of the boys Troy Weribone, is a naturally talented young photographer who I asked to help me shoot the festival on Sunday. Troy took to capturing the festival through one of my Nikon Camera’s with a kind of passion that I have not witnessed in some time and he did a fabulous job. Here is the Boomerang Festival on Sunday through Troys eye’s – keep your eye out here for more of Troy’s work as he gains more experience and we work together on future projects.
