The Byron Bay RAW Artists “Panorama” hit town on Wednesday night at the Beach Hotel. Featuring a mix of local talent in art, fashion, music, film and makup artistry RAWÂ provides a great mix of visual and auditory simulation to the attending crowd. The evening was MC’ed by local personality Dancing Tommy Franklin and included performance art from the Bollywood sisters, an amazing runway show of hats from fashion designer Amanda Dudley, live music from the Loathing and many other performances.
Amoung the artists presenting were local mosaic artist and regular Common Ground contributor Sandii Cocharane, 19 year old indiginous painter Daniel Hend, Jeremy Austin and Imagdin. The event provides exposure to local talent and for many is the first time they are able to share their work in a public forum.
RAW Byron Bay is proudly sponsored by Common Ground, and is part of a global network of similar events and provides a platform for artists in over 60 locations.
