Future Shorts kicks off TONIGHT!

If you are a lover of film… then this is for you!

Future Shorts ONE – The next generation international film event is rapidly spreading across the globe, and has arrived in Byron Bay, with the official launch night this Wednesday night at the Piggery!

Currently being viewed in 15 countries and over 55 cities, Future Shorts is one of the worlds most prolific and innovative film organisations, connecting audiences and filmmakers alike to a massive global community of film and culture.

Future Shorts founder, Fabian Rigall explains , “ the massive display of creativity in Future Shorts proves that people everywhere can experience the same quality films seen by an elite few in festivals like Cannes and Sundance in a completely new and engaging way”. Watch more of what Fabian and other Future Shorts enthusiasts have to say in the video below…

Newcomer to the Bay, Joshua Wickett and his film/music company Enigma Media Group are working in conjunction with Future Shorts because; “Future Shorts and Enigma Media Group share a similar vision, we wish to provide a platform for film makers to show case their works and connect with audiences and industry”. So local filmmakers, you’ll get your turn soon enough.

In months to come we as Enigma/Future Shorts are moving from a global monthly event to a quarterly format, this gives us more time to prepare and involve other art forms such as music, comedy, theatre and burlesque. If you’d like to be involved, Josh would love to hear from you. This also goes for all you humble film makers locally, if you’d like to submit a short film to be played along side the Future Shorts quarterly selection, please contact Josh and the Enigma Media Group HERE.

This Wednesday (21st Sept) is the big premier at Byron’s Pighouse Flicks, so don’t miss out. There will be music, comedy, 80mins of world-class film and a few beers and wine. Show starts at 6:30pm and you can buy your tickets HERE.
