Through The Lens With Luke Byrne

Wolf & Cub recently came to Byron Bay for a week or so as mentioned in a previous photo feature on their live show. What we didn’t mention is that the very talented Luke Byrne, brother of Joel Byrne (singer, guitarist) also hung with the band for their time in Byron Bay. Luke captured everything the band did with their time, from sunrise to sundown and beyond through the lens of his camera.

Luke is part of SPR/PPL (SuperPeople), which is a collaborative partnership between Luke & Andy Irwin. Working in photography, film and art direction they make images for the music & fashion industries. You can check out everything they do at sprppl.com. Luke & Andy have been involved in the visual side of Wolf & Cub since day one. Designing all the art for Wolf & Cub albums, merchandise, tour posters as well as the bands film clips and photography.

Luke had never been to Byron Bay before this trip. His photos of the bands week really take a fresh look at Byron Bay outside of the sunsets, dolpins and lighthouse shots first timers would normally aim their camera at.
