Back to those defining memories. The cyclonic ocean lines subside in Byron Bay, the left-over energy of some of the biggest waves seen on our shores, we get a chance to reflect and remember.
As a surfer myself, one feels a loss in a way. The anticipation, the implementation, and then the aftermath of riding the most exhilarating waves, can leave one pondering when the next swell of magnitude will arrive. I feel this is echoed in the spectators watching surfer’s tackle the might of Main Beach, or the game handful that dueled massive Tallow Beach. We are all left with an Eastern lined memoir.
