Rusty Miller is a humble surfing legend, who gives back to surfing by doing personalised teachings here in Byron Bay. Each lesson is a wonderful experience, passing on his ways and wisdom from years of a life lived via the ocean.
Here in Byron Bay, Rusty has lived, surfed and related his unique ‘how to learn’ surfing method to numerous others for over three decades. Rusty helped pioneer the Byron Surf Dream, establishing the first surfing school of Byron Bay. He holds the only license for teaching ‘one-on-one’ at exquisite Watego’s Beach, at the tip of Cape Byron Headland, Australia’s most easterly point .
Rusty has inspired and assisted many to ride waves safely and harmonize with the energy of the ocean. He calls it “Surfing Through Life”.
