The Sun
Here at Common Ground we are slightly obsessed with the Sun. The way it rises, the way it sets and everything in between. Byron Bay being the most eastern point of Australia and with Cape Byron reaching into the Pacific Ocean we have the most amazing view to watch it do both.
I’m not sure what it is about the Sun that energises the Byron community so much. No matter what angle its shining or time of the day it is, it can be bouncing off waves, trees, clouds or the ridge at Coorabell it creates a natural light show you won’t forget.
Nothing beats watching it rise over tallows & set over the bay while surfing at Wategos or The Pass.
