William Crighton band his band played a powerful set of songs of Australiana. Crighton’s songs have an old worldly Australian feel of balladeers of past and his stage presence certainly made a lasting impression with thought provoking tunes and leave you thinking, wow that was the support act?
Dan Sultan walked onto the stage with arms outstretched invoking the audience and the crowd erupted with welcoming cheers. The first three songs hear him play Magnetic, Kimberley Calling and the title track to his new album Killer and you can just feel the intensity. The rest of the set saw the audience swept up with total captivation with his story telling. The set ended on a high with highly emotional song “Kingdom “. He reached off stage and borrowed the Aboriginal flag from the front row, and sang the rest of the song with it held close to his heart.
