Byron Vibes is delighted to announce that they will launch their first Album on Saturday 29 March 2014 at The Brewery where you can enjoy award winning beers while being entertained by amazing musicians and bands from around the North Coast including Wandering Eyes, Pure Velour, Jaffer, Rohin ‘funkmeister’ Knight… And that’s just to name a few.
Byron Vibes Volume One intentionally captures Byron’s diverse range of creative musicianship and songwriting with genres ranging from Reggae and Rap to Funk, Phsycadelic, Blues, folk, gypsy and more.
The Album includes Byron Bay Electronic Music Duo “Tranceq” (pronounced – Trans sec) recently took out third place in the world music category of the prestigious 2013 John Lennon Songwriters Competition in New York City. The duo comprising of Graeme Chapple on guitars /production and Sasha Michalitsianos on vocals were successful with their release “Voodoo”. The video of the track also made the finals of the Global Citizens Festival in New York for 2013. Comment from the organiser was “we love your music in NYC”. This track was also a finalist at last years ARIAs.
“After many months of creative labor, with an incredible team, we’re thrilled to be hosting the first Byron Vibes Album Launch which features a fusion of artists from around the North Coast,” said co-founder Robert Paton. “It will be a fantastic day where artists will showcase their amazing musical talents with live performances and all punters walk away with their very own copy of the album.”
There will be great stages featuring live bands and artists, an incredible interactive live Jam, the awesome ‘Funmaker’ silent disco, a selection of market stalls, facepainting for all ages, VJ Pumayana, a live collaborative artwomb canvas and sculpture and much much more…
