FLOATINGME – Floats your boat

FLOATINGME is an amalgamation of  ridiculously talented artists; starting with, vocalist Andrew Gillespie, guitarist Antony Brown and keyboards Tobias Messiter of ground-breaking ’90s Sydney band Scarymother. Cast alongside drummer Lucius Borich of influential prog rock trio Cog, and Jon Stockman of Karnivool on bass. FLOATINGME are seriously great musicians with a common goal – GOOD HEAVY ROCK.

FLOATINGME haven’t let the heat cool from their guitars after their Triple J supported national tour before embarking on their final shows for 2011 hitting Festival of the Sun in Port Macquarie and then Byron Bay! If you haven’t seen these guys in person yet then now’s your chance! Be at The Great Northern in Byron on Saturday the 10th of December for the show.

The band were Nominated for a 2011 ARIA award for best Hard Rock/ Metal album and have been getting major radio love from Triple J over the past year. Since the release of their self titled album FLOATINGME, the Sydney 5 piece have supported Shihad, Dead Letter Circus and have sold out shows on a co’ headline tour with Thousand Needles in Red.

Supported by Electric Horse and  The Grains  these sounds are sure to bring the house down. Tickets are available HERE so give your ears an early christmas present and get in quick!
