Glass Towers : Playing I OH YOU House Party
After throwing a house party to pay their bills in November 2009, the housemates who started I OH YOU have seen their creation evolve into something far beyond their original expectations. Overnight it seemed that their parties exploded, allowing them to go on to host acts like Foals, Yeasayer, Gypsy & the Cat, The Death Set and many more…not only in Melbourne but also Brisbane!
Now the friends are travelling to BYRON BAY to get real loose at a house party which they’ve put together with their friends THE BOATS! In original I OH YOU style this is going to be a free party and BYO.
Headlining the night they have locals GLASS TOWERS! Having already shared the stage with Tame Impala, Bluejuice, Cloud Control and many more and been recognised by Splendour in The Grass as an untaped talent, the boys played mainstage at Splendour . They were also finalists in the triple j Unearthed high competition last year. Also coming down to get their swag on is Brisbane band DUNE RATS.
