Texas singer/guitarist Robert Ellis began performing in in 2010, forming a foundation in the classics of country music and original songs. Robert Ellis’ father is a pastor and the singer was raised in a religious household. (Ellis now identifies as an atheist.) In 2011American Songwriter’s Magazine named his second album Photographs as one of the top 50 albums of the year. Ellis has toured with Alabama Shakes, Old Crow Medicine Show and is currently in Australia as part of the “Out on the Weekend” alt-country festival.

Robert is no stranger to the Northern Rivers hotspots. First appearing with Justin Townes Earle in Lismore and Byron in 2013, then back for more later that year for great performances at Mullum Music festival. In October last year, along with Jonny Fritz, he was part of a legendary intimate show at The Roadhouse. Well, he’s coming back. Our good friends at The Farm have been kind enough to put on a very special night at their establishment on Sunday November 1.

This will be an exclusive solo show for this incredibly talented Artist. He earned widespread acclaim for his debut album “Photographs” and it’s follow up “The Lights from the Chemical Plant” received 3 Americana Music Award nominations including Song of the Year, Artist of the Year and Album of the Year in 2015.
