A quick road trip to Evans Head late one afternoon last week, and I was lucky enough to capture these guys fishing near the break wall for a couple of hours. Pelicans are an amazing bird to watch. However, they are very vulnerable to illness and injury caused by pollution in the water right through to fishing line and hooks that have been carelessly left behind.
