She has photographed Splendour in the Grass with unique eyes, BluesFest with another pair of incredible eyes, and now we cannot call her a ‘Byron Girl’ for the moment, as she has found herself in… NEW YORK!
And it doesn’t stop there, she has her own travel blog called Tempting Alice, so we want to find out a little more about this incredibly talented Miss Cheers…
Tell us about your new venture Tempting Alice?
I have always wanted to be a travel photographer. So rather than waiting for someone else to hand me an opportunity, I have decided to create my own. Tempting Alice is my dreams come to life. It is a platform for me to showcase my travel adventures and my photography as an art form. I look forward to sharing my unique view of the world and hope to inspire others to embark on their own journeys.
New York is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work and learn from some of the best in the business but Australia will always be home. I grew up on the coast and wouldn’t want to settle any where else.
What are you hoping to gain/experience whilst travelling and living in New York?
I have never really lived in the city so I am excited about taking on the concrete jungle. The urban environment will provide a whole new setting and source of inspiration for my photography. Being so centrally based is also hugely advantageous for my travel photography. I am already dreaming up adventures to South America, Mexico, Alaska and Canada.
